iOS 11 Devices: Is Your Device iOS 11-Compatible?
August 21, 2017
The newest version of Apple’s flagship mobile operating platform, the iOS 11, is on its way. Every year, Apple releases newer variants of its iOS and every year, some older devices are waylaid. This year too, not all Apple devices will be able to support the iOS 11. There are several reasons behind why some devices will be expired this year, and we will mention them below. In the meantime, if you use an Apple iPhone or an iPad, this is your list of iOS 11 compatible devices.
iOS 11 Compatible Devices: Why Are Some Devices Not Supported?
There is no easy answer to this specific question. For starters, there is the business aspect. Apple is a global business giant and its existence is based on the generation of profit. It stands to reason, therefore, that Apple should be able to generate revenue year after year. This comes in two major parts: hardware and software. The hardware part includes the device which we use. The software part includes the iOS platform.
In order to ensure that Apple users upgrade to the newest versions of the software, the hardware front is advanced year after year. Also, to make sure that the same Apple users upgrade to the latest versions of the devices, the company ensures that some devices are not supported every year and are generally made way for. This is why we need a list of iOS 11 devices which are compatible.
